Alrightie peoples... different themes are finally available for the FA.

If you'll go to your control panel, you'll notice a new control under Board Preferences.


This drop down list has a handful of new themes that are compatible with this current version of phpbb.

Please check them out and pick your favorite! I will be putting up a poll in the main discussion in order to determine which one should be our new DEFAULT.

The default theme is the theme all visitors see, and its the primary theme used for new accounts. Now, not all these themes look perfect, but once a favorite is chosen, I will do my best to tweak it to suit our tastes (i.e. remove any weird header images and such).

So, have fun, pick your fav.

Carbon is definitely a lot easier on my eyes..... (but I tend to dislike light...a lot...lights are almost always turned off in the house XD)

I kind of like the ProSilver special addition.

If we use any of the other ones the Shadows will need to change their Aspect color. Otherwise we really are hidden in the forums.

I'm also partial to the PS2 theme

I also like the ProSilver special addition. Carbon is ok. PS2 is meh for me. lol.

Personally, I like myInvision... I can maybe replace that pinstripe background with the chalk board on main page.

Quick swap out of the background and the header logo done for that theme... eh, I might manipulate all the others too if I feel like it. I'll do carbon next since others seem to like that one.

Edit, Carbon looks nice after the edits, Spec Edition just got a little headerswap out.

myInvision looks very good. Prosilver Special Edition is functional but too close to the regular Prosilver.

I like the typography from the Flat theme.

The PS4 theme's lighter grey doesn't wash out names and does a good job of reducing perceived glare.

I'm sitting on PS4 Pro at the moment.

Pretty partial to Carbon.

...though with Carbon it's slightly confusing to see what forums have new posts, from the icons. I imagine we can swap in other icons if people want Carbon.
